Babes Net’s Origin Story

Camilla and Florence, the founders of Babes Net

Camilla and Florence kept running into each other. Same conferences, same cities, same rooms full of men. They finally met properly at an event in Hong Kong, both living in Dubai, both years deep in tech and became besties.

Camilla Parisotto started her career at Bloomberg before moving to NEA, a NYC based AI startup, and later founding the creative agency Mood Labs.

Florence Vuong spent years in ecom and is the founder of merch studio OriginalCopy, former COO of Chipped, and she represents UAE calligraphy artist Dia Allam.

What started as an excuse to have their own safe space grew past 800 women in only a few months, then kept going. It all began with the Babes Net key, handed out in Buenos Aires during DevConnect in November 2025, followed by a first brunch in Dubai.

Today Babes Net is 800+ women in tech and Web3, based all over the world and coming together at events from Dubai to Seoul, Paris, New York, and beyond. They meet IRL everywhere, run digital workshops from AI to career building, and grow together, personally and professionally. 💞
